Description

KPN Mobile The Netherlands B.V., operating as KPN, is a leading mobile network operator in the Netherlands. With a rich history deeply intertwined with the country's telecommunications infrastructure, KPN has evolved into offering a comprehensive range of services, including mobile, fixed-line, internet, and television. As a dominant player in the Dutch mobile market, KPN competes with Vodafone Netherlands and T-Mobile Netherlands, striving to provide innovative services and reliable connectivity to its customers across the nation. Their network is identified internationally using the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 204, designating the Netherlands, and the Mobile Network Code (MNC) 08, specifically identifying the KPN network. The carrier actively invests in network upgrades, including 5G deployment, to enhance user experience and support the growing demand for high-speed mobile data throughout the Netherlands.

KPN's significance extends beyond just providing mobile services. It plays a crucial role in the Netherlands' digital infrastructure, supporting businesses, government sectors, and individual consumers alike. The allocation of MCC 204 and MNC 08 ensures that mobile devices can correctly identify and connect to the KPN network when roaming or operating within the Netherlands. KPN’s comprehensive service portfolio and ongoing investment in technology solidify its position as a key player in the European telecommunications landscape, constantly adapting to meet the evolving needs of its subscribers in a highly competitive market. Their continued efforts focus on improving network coverage and capacity, further strengthening its presence across the country.
