Description

Telenet Base, operating in Belgium, stands as a prominent mobile network provider, identified by the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 206 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 20. As part of Telenet Group, Base offers a range of mobile services to consumers across the country, competing alongside other major players like Proximus and Orange Belgium. Belgium, a key market in Europe, boasts a high mobile penetration rate, making Base a crucial part of the nation's telecommunications infrastructure. They offer 2G, 3G, 4G and now 5G services to subscribers.

Base's network infrastructure leverages the specified MCC and MNC to ensure seamless connectivity and identification within the broader European and global mobile ecosystem. This unique identifier allows devices to correctly register with the network and access available services. Many sources and users report that Base provides competitive coverage, pricing, and customer service, making it a popular choice for Belgian mobile users. Users can use the 206 20 MCC MNC combination to discover networks on their device and connect to Telenet Base. It’s seen as a more budget oriented network, but with excellent 4 and 5g coverage in most of the Belgium area.
