Description

Local Exchange Global Operation Services (LEGOS) operates as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) in France, Europe, leveraging the infrastructure of established mobile network operators to provide mobile services to its subscribers. Officially registered with the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 208, identifying France, and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 17, LEGOS aims to offer competitive mobile plans and services tailored to specific user needs within the diverse French telecommunications market. Unlike larger, established players like Orange France, SFR, Bouygues Telecom and Free Mobile, LEGOS focuses on niche markets and targeted service offerings, frequently partnering with underlying network providers to ensure reliable coverage across France.

As an MVNO, LEGOS doesn't own its own radio access network. Instead, it purchases network capacity from existing operators, allowing them to focus on service provision, customer support, and specific market segments. This model enables LEGOS to introduce innovative pricing strategies and specialized data packages often catering to businesses or specific demographics. While the precise details of LEGOS's network agreements and service performance might vary over time, depending on underlying infrastructure provider contracts, the MCC and MNC codes (208 17), remain a constant identifier of LEGOS within the global mobile network landscape, particularly important when troubleshooting network registration problems or setting up mobile devices for international roaming. The French telecommunications regulator, ARCEP, plays a key role in monitoring and regulating MVNO activities ensuring fair competition and consumer protection within the market.
