Yoigo, officially Xfera Móviles S.A., is a mobile network operator in Spain, holding the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 214 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 04. Launched in 2006, Yoigo distinguished itself early on by offering simpler tariff plans and a focus on data services. Operating within the competitive Spanish mobile market, alongside established players like Movistar, Vodafone, and Orange, Yoigo aimed to capture market share by appealing to customers seeking value and transparency. Its initial strategy involved building its own 3G and 4G infrastructure, although it later moved towards a more hybrid approach utilizing network sharing agreements to enhance coverage across Spain. Throughout its history, Yoigo has undergone ownership changes, most notably the acquisition by MásMóvil Group in 2016.
