Description

Tiscali S.p.A., operating in Italy (MCC 222), is a mobile network provider with the Mobile Network Code (MNC) 47. Although traditionally known as an internet service provider, Tiscali has expanded its services to include mobile network operations, playing a role in Italy’s telecommunications landscape within Europe. While not as extensive in coverage as larger players like TIM (Telecom Italia Mobile) or Vodafone Italia, Tiscali offers mobile services to its user base, often focusing on value-oriented plans.

Tiscali's presence contributes to the competition in the Italian mobile market, providing users with alternative options. The network utilizes the specified MCC and MNC for identification and operation within the Italian mobile ecosystem. While specific details regarding Tiscali's network infrastructure are somewhat limited due to its smaller scale compared to its larger competitors, its role is significant for providing alternative mobile services to consumers looking beyond the more established networks in Italy. Like other Mobile network operators in Italy, Tiscali has had to adapt to the evolving landscape of 4G, and now 5G technologies.
