Description

Swisscom Broadcast AG is a specialized mobile network operator based in Switzerland, operating under Mobile Country Code (MCC) 228 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 99. While Swisscom is well-known as the primary mobile provider in Switzerland, Swisscom Broadcast AG serves a niche within the industry, likely focusing on specific services such as private networks, Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications, IoT (Internet of Things) solutions, or critical infrastructure connectivity. Operating in Europe, and within Switzerland, it navigates a competitive landscape alongside larger providers such as Swisscom (MCC 228, MNC 01), Sunrise (MCC 228, MNC 02), and Salt Mobile (MCC 228, MNC 03).

Compared to other major operators in Switzerland, Swisscom Broadcast AG's specific focus is important to note. Instead of directly targeting consumer mobile subscriptions, its business model likely centers on providing reliable and secure connectivity options for businesses and governmental organizations. This could entail facilitating data transfer for smart city projects, enabling telemetry for utilities, or ensuring secure communications for emergency services. The assigned MCC (228) designates Switzerland, while the MNC (99) specifically identifies Swisscom Broadcast AG within the Swiss mobile network ecosystem, indicating its distinct operational role.
