Description

Plintron Austria Limited, operating within Austria (Europe), is a virtual mobile network operator (MVNO) distinguished by its Mobile Country Code (MCC) of 232 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) of 22. As an MVNO, Plintron doesn't own its own radio network infrastructure; instead, it leases network capacity from established mobile network operators within Austria, allowing it to offer mobile services under its own brand. This business model allows Plintron to focus on service innovation and customer acquisition, potentially offering niche or specialized services that differentiate it from larger, more established Austrian mobile providers like A1 Telekom Austria, Magenta Telekom, and Drei.

Within Austria's competitive mobile landscape, defined by its modern infrastructure and high mobile penetration rates, Plintron Austria Limited plays an important role by offering a wide array of virtual mobile network operator services. The company's presence contributes to increased competition, potentially driving down prices and improving service quality for Austrian mobile subscribers. The use of MCC 232 and MNC 22 are critical components in identifying Plintron Austria Limited’s network on mobile devices and facilitate roaming agreements with other networks both within Austria and internationally, ensuring seamless connectivity for its users.
