Description

Marathon Telecom Limited, operating in the United Kingdom, Europe, is identified by the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 234 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 28. As a mobile network operator (MNO), Marathon Telecom contributes to the diverse telecommunications landscape within the UK. The UK's mobile market is highly competitive, with established players like Vodafone, EE, O2, and Three dominating the sector. Marathon Telecom, while not as widely known as these larger entities, focuses on specific segments or niches within the market, possibly including dedicated connectivity solutions for businesses or specialized applications. Its inclusion in the MCC/MNC registry highlights its licensed operational status within the UK regulatory framework.

While specific details on Marathon Telecom's service offerings and coverage area within the UK are often more limited compared to the major national operators, its presence signifies another player in the complex ecology of mobile communication. The MCC and MNC assignments permit Marathon Telecom to provide cellular services adhering to international standards, ensuring devices can connect to their network. By having a specific network code assigned to them, it allows for roaming between different mobile networks, this is important as it allows users from different networks from across the globe to connect to their mobile network when visiting the United Kingdom. For businesses and consumers needing specific coverage requirements, Marathon Telecom presents an alternative.
