Description

Dansk Beredskabskommunikation A/S, operating as SINE (Secure Information Network), provides a critical mobile network for public safety and emergency services across Denmark. Designated with Mobile Country Code (MCC) 238, identifying Denmark, and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 11, SINE ensures reliable and secure communication for police, fire departments, ambulance services, and other essential government agencies. Unlike commercial mobile networks, SINE is specifically designed for resilience and priority access, vital during emergencies when other networks might be congested or unavailable. This dedicated infrastructure plays a key role in coordinating responses to incidents both locally and nationwide, contributing significantly to the effectiveness and efficiency of emergency services in Denmark.

Covering the entire country from Zealand to Jutland, SINE leverages robust technology to provide secure voice and data services. While commercial networks like those operated by Telia or Telenor focus on broader consumer needs, SINE is tailored to the unique demands of mission-critical communications. The network’s infrastructure is built to withstand challenging conditions and features redundancy to maintain operations even during widespread disruptions. Its specialized features such as group calling and priority access ensure that emergency responders can communicate effectively in dynamic and high-pressure situations, bolstering public safety throughout Denmark within the broader European framework.
