Description

Ice Danmark ApS, operating under the Net 1 brand, is a Danish mobile network operator. It distinguishes itself by offering a nationwide 450 MHz mobile network, a unique approach in Denmark and Europe. This specialized network targets users in areas with limited coverage from traditional GSM networks. Utilizing Mobile Country Code (MCC) 238 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 15, Ice Danmark ApS provides vital connectivity in regions where other major operators like TDC, Telenor, and Telia may have a weaker signal presence.

Focusing primarily on data services, Ice Danmark ApS (Net 1) caters to a niche market. Its 450 MHz frequency allows for wider coverage areas with fewer cell towers compared to higher frequency bands, making it suitable for rural and remote locations across Denmark. This MCC/MNC combination (238 15) represents a distinct approach to mobile communication within the European landscape, addressing the specific needs of users requiring reliable connectivity outside of densely populated urban centers. Their strategy is particularly relevant in a country like Denmark, where while overall connectivity is high, pockets of underserved areas still exist.
