Description

Telia Denmark, operating under Mobile Country Code (MCC) 238 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 20, is a key player in the Danish telecommunications market, providing mobile network services across the country. As part of the broader Telia Company – a group with a significant footprint across Europe, particularly in the Nordics and Baltics – Telia Denmark offers a range of services including 4G, and increasingly 5G, catering to both individual consumers and business clients. In a competitive market alongside other major players like TDC NET (formerly TDC) and Telenor Denmark, Telia focuses on delivering reliable connectivity and innovative solutions. They are known for investing in infrastructure to provide broad coverage across Denmark, including urban areas and more rural regions of the Jutland Peninsula and the islands.

Telia Denmark's network utilizes the 238 20 identifier for mobile devices connecting to its services, allowing phones and other devices to correctly identify and register on the network. This MCC/MNC combination is crucial for roaming agreements, ensuring that visitors to Denmark can seamlessly connect to Telia's network if their home provider has a roaming partnership in place. Beyond basic connectivity, Telia have been known to invest in entertainment offerings and value added services, like streaming and content deals, as part of its strategy to differentiate itself in the market. They've also been keen to showcase their commitment to sustainability through initiatives such as reducing their carbon footprint, reflecting a growing concern for environmental responsibility within the European telecoms sector.
