Description

Com Hem AB, operating in Sweden (MCC 240), is a well-established mobile network provider identified by the Mobile Network Code (MNC) 11. While Com Hem started as a major cable TV and broadband provider, they expanded their services to include mobile offerings, largely through a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) agreement. As an MVNO, Com Hem leverages the existing infrastructure of other major Swedish mobile network operators, such as Telia or Tele2, to deliver mobile services to their customers. This model allows them to focus on customer service, competitive pricing, and bundled packages, often combining mobile, broadband, and TV services.

Sweden's mobile market is competitive, with strong players like Telia, Tele2, and Telenor. Com Hem distinguishes itself by offering value-driven packages and targeting a broad consumer base. Their focus on integrated home entertainment and communication solutions has strengthened their position in the market. Considering Sweden's advanced digital infrastructure and high mobile penetration rates, Com Hem faces the challenge of continuous innovation to stay ahead, including exploring 5G opportunities and ensuring robust coverage and data speeds through their host network partner. Being based in Europe, Com Hem AB has to adhere to the GDPR set of rules defined by the European Union, to protect it’s customers.
