Description

Trafikverket ICT MobiSir, operating in Sweden (Europe), is a dedicated mobile network primarily utilized for communication within the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket). Identified by the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 240, designating Sweden, and the Mobile Network Code (MNC) 21, MobiSir serves a critical role in ensuring reliable connectivity for various infrastructure and transport-related operations across the country. While not a public-facing network like Telia, Tele2, or Telenor, which offer widespread consumer services, its focus is on providing secure and dependable channels for Trafikverket's internal needs.

The network's specific functionalities likely encompass supporting communication between field teams, managing traffic flow, monitoring infrastructure conditions (such as bridges and railways), and enabling data transmission from remote sensors. Given the vital nature of Trafikverket's responsibilities, MobiSir's reliability and security are paramount. Its operation using MCC 240 and MNC 21 ensures that the network is uniquely identifiable within the Swedish mobile landscape, preventing interference with other public or private mobile networks. Understanding the role of Trafikverket ICT MobiSir provides valuable insight into the behind-the-scenes telecommunications infrastructure supporting Sweden's essential transport systems.
