Description

Forsvarets kompetansesenter KKIS, operating in Norway (Europe), represents a specialized mobile network identified by the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 242 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 25. This network, translating to the Norwegian Armed Forces' competence center for CIS (Communication and Information Systems), likely serves specific operational needs within the Norwegian military and related governmental agencies, providing secure and reliable communication infrastructure. Unlike commercial networks such as Telenor (MNC 01, 02, 09) or Telia (MNC 04, 05), KKIS focuses on meeting the stringent security requirements and specialized communication demands inherent in defense operations.

Being a dedicated network, Forsvarets kompetansesenter KKIS probably prioritizes coverage in areas strategically important to national defense, which may differ substantially from the coverage maps of public mobile operators. Its technological infrastructure might include encrypted communication channels, specialized frequency bands allocated for military use, and robust redundancy measures to maintain operational capability in challenging environments. While details on user subscription and service plans remain limited due to the network's restricted purpose, KKIS plays a crucial role in safeguarding national security within Norway, Europe.
