Description

Nokia Solutions and Networks Norge AS, operating in Norway (Europe), is a significant player in the country's mobile network infrastructure. Identified by its Mobile Country Code (MCC) of 242, unique to Norway, and Mobile Network Code (MNC) of 90, this identifies the specific network operator. While perhaps not as consumer-facing as Telenor or Telia, who also operate extensively in the Norwegian mobile market, Nokia Solutions and Networks Norge AS plays a crucial role providing infrastructure and services that underpin mobile connectivity across the nation, from its bustling cities to its remote fjords.

The company focuses primarily on the backend of mobile operations, and is known for delivering mobile and fixed network infrastructure, communications and networks service platforms and professional consultancy to its customers and their subscribers. Although 4G mobile networks are the most popular and widely used networks across Norway, many mobile subscribers in this region are also making use of 5G mobile networks. Given the growth of mobile technologies and the need for robust network solutions, companies such as Nokia Solutions and Networks Norge AS play an increasingly important role in ensuring reliable and efficient mobile communication services, enabling various sectors from personal communication to IoT and industrial applications across Norway, and into Europe.
