Description

Nokia Solutions and Networks Oy (NSN), operating in Finland under Mobile Country Code (MCC) 244 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 40, represents a significant presence in the European mobile landscape. While technically a subsidiary focused on infrastructure and network solutions, its deep roots in Finland tie it closely to the Finnish telecommunications narrative. Unlike mobile operators like Elisa Oyj, Telia Finland Oyj, and DNA Oyj who provide direct consumer services, Nokia Solutions and Networks Oy plays a crucial behind-the-scenes role in building and maintaining the network infrastructure that supports mobile communication throughout Finland and further afield in Europe.

As a provider of mobile network infrastructure, Nokia Solutions and Networks Oy’s impact is felt across various Finnish operators. Their equipment and expertise are vital for delivering 4G and increasingly, 5G services. Finland, with its advanced technological landscape and high mobile penetration rate, relies on companies like NSN to ensure network performance and innovation keeps pace with user demand. While consumers may not directly interact with NSN, their mobile experience is nonetheless greatly influenced by the technology and services they provide to other mobile network operators in Finland and wider Europe.
