Lithuania, located in Europe, has a competitive mobile market, and Mediafon Mediafon contributes to the landscape alongside other major players. Although perhaps not as widely discussed as Telia, Bite or Tele2 (all established networks in Lithuania), Mediafon Mediafon plays a key role in specific communication segments with their MNC 06.

The MCC 246 designates Lithuania, allowing devices to identify and connect to Lithuanian mobile networks. Within Lithuania, the MNC distinguishes individual operators; in this case, MNC 06 specifically identifies UAB Mediafon Mediafon. Understanding the MCC and MNC are crucial for international travelers and those involved in network optimization, ensuring seamless connectivity within Lithuania's mobile ecosystem. Although perhaps not focussed on cellular and data as much as some other networks, their role in specific network segments in key to the country’s mobile network infrastructure.
