Description

"Stavtelesot / North Caucasian GSM" (MCC 250, MNC 44) represents a significant mobile network operator within the Russian Federation, specifically serving the North Caucasus region. Operating under Mobile Country Code 250, which identifies Russia, and Mobile Network Code 44, this network plays a crucial role in regional connectivity. It's interesting when looking at the landscape of Russia's mobile operators, as it competes with larger, nationally established players like MTS, MegaFon, and Tele2.

While perhaps not as widely known on a national scale as the "big three", Stavtelesot serves a vital function in providing telecommunications services to a region with unique geographical and cultural characteristics. The North Caucasus, encompassing areas such as Chechnya, Dagestan, and others, presents specific challenges and opportunities for mobile network deployment. Understanding the MCC and MNC codes allows users and developers to correctly identify and configure devices to utilize the Stavtelesot network effectively when travelling or working in this area of Europe within the Russian federation.
