Description

3Mob, legally Trimob LLC, is a Ukrainian mobile network operator providing 3G UMTS (and some legacy GSM) services. Operating under MCC (Mobile Country Code) 255, which identifies Ukraine, and MNC (Mobile Network Code) 07, 3Mob distinguishes itself in the Ukrainian mobile landscape. While Ukraine boasts established players like Kyivstar and Vodafone Ukraine, 3Mob occupies a unique position, often leveraging roaming agreements to expand its coverage footprint, particularly in areas where its own infrastructure is limited. It's worth noting that some of its infrastructure and spectrum partnerships have evolved over time, impacting availability in certain regions.

Interestingly, Lycamobile also utilizes the Trimob LLC network in Ukraine. This relationship allows Lycamobile to offer its services within the country without the extensive investment required for building a completely new network infrastructure. This collaborative approach is not uncommon in the mobile industry, allowing smaller or internationally-focused operators to penetrate new markets. Users should be aware of this relationship when considering either 3Mob or Lycamobile for mobile services in Ukraine, as coverage and potential service differences might stem from this shared infrastructure.
