Description

Aero2 Sp. z o.o., operating under the Aero2 brand, is a Polish mobile network operator providing services across Poland, Europe. Identified by the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 260 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 04, Aero2 distinguishes itself within the Polish telecommunications landscape with a history rooted in data services. While Poland boasts several major mobile operators like Orange, Play, Plus, and T-Mobile, Aero2 carved a niche, particularly known for its earlier offering of free basic internet access - which was a unique and quite disruptive offering in the market when launched.

Initially providing free internet service to consumers under the terms of a government concessions, Aero2 has transitioned over time. The specifics and availability of their offerings have fluctuated, and users looking for data currently look to the existing polish mobile operators such as the ones named previously, as well as MVNO's. Understanding Aero2's MCC and MNC is crucial for network configuration and identification, particularly for travelers or those configuring mobile devices to connect to Polish networks and for developers working on applications that need to identify networks. The operator's history and current service offerings are indicative of the dynamic nature of the Polish mobile communications market.
