Description

NetCologne, operating within Germany (MCC 262) and throughout Europe, is identifiable by its Mobile Network Code (MNC) of 18. Primarily serving the Cologne and surrounding North Rhine-Westphalia region, NetCologne started as a regional internet and telecommunications provider and has since expanded to offer mobile services, often leveraging partnerships with larger national networks. While not possessing the same nationwide coverage as Deutsche Telekom or Vodafone, NetCologne focuses on providing tailored services to its regional customer base, emphasizing high-speed internet access and localized customer support.

Users interested in understanding the details of German mobile networks often refer to the MCC 262 to clearly identify their home country. Similarly, the MNC of 18 for NetCologne allows devices and networks to specifically recognize and connect to the NetCologne mobile network. Although NetCologne relies on roaming agreements to extend its coverage further afield, staying informed about these codes ensures users understand which network is facilitating their communication, whether at home in Germany or traveling throughout Europe.
