Zapp Portugal, operating within the European nation, provided mobile network services under MCC (Mobile Country Code) 268, identifying Portugal, and MNC (Mobile Network Code) 21. Although specific details regarding its operational tenure and services offered may be limited in readily available public records, Zapp played a role in the development of Portugal’s telecommunications landscape, contributing to the competitive environment alongside established players like NOS, Vodafone Portugal and MEO. As a mobile network operator it would have provided many Portugese citizens connectivity solutions.

While Zapp may not be as widely recognized as its larger counterparts, its presence highlights the dynamic nature of the European mobile market, where smaller operators can cater to niche markets or offer specialized services. The existence of Zapp, even if short-lived, also impacts the historical record of radio spectrum allocation and 2G/3G/4G licensing in Portugal. Further research into regulatory filings and historical industry reports could reveal more details about Zapp's specific contributions and ultimate fate within the Portuguese mobile ecosystem.
