Description

MTX Connect S.a.r.l. is a mobile network operator based in Luxembourg, Europe. It distinguishes itself by offering data roaming services primarily aimed at travelers and businesses, aiming to provide cost-effective connectivity solutions across various countries. Unlike traditional Luxembourgish mobile networks focused on domestic services, MTX Connect's core business revolves around enabling seamless internet access for individuals and organizations while they are abroad. Operating under Mobile Country Code (MCC) 270 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 02, MTX Connect leverages roaming agreements with other operators globally to deliver its services. While Luxembourg's telecom market is served by established providers like POST Luxembourg, Tango, and Orange Luxembourg, MTX Connect carves a niche for itself by concentrating on international data connectivity.

Primarily a data-focused network, MTX Connect offers competitive roaming packages designed to avoid high charges associated with using other networks' data services overseas. This approach is particularly appealing to those who frequently travel for business or leisure. The network achieves this by partnering with a vast network of mobile providers, meaning its coverage relies heavily on the existing infrastructure of its roaming partners wherever its customers happen to be. It's important to note that while MTX Connect provides data services, it may not offer the full suite of services typically associated with a native mobile network in Luxembourg, such as extensive voice call options or SMS-based services within Luxembourg's national boundaries.
