Description

San Marino Telecom PRIMA, operating in the microstate of San Marino nestled within Italy, is the primary mobile network provider in the republic. Identified internationally by its Mobile Country Code (MCC) of 292 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) of 01, San Marino Telecom PRIMA ensures connectivity for residents and visitors alike. Given San Marino's unique geographic situation and size, PRIMA plays a vital role in the nation's communication infrastructure, providing both voice and data services. While other virtual operators might lease capacity, San Marino Telecom PRIMA stands as the established network with its own dedicated spectrum, serving as the core infrastructural provider.

Being the key mobile operator within San Marino, PRIMA faces the challenge of providing comprehensive coverage in a compact but varied terrain, with locations such as Mount Titano dominating the skyline. As San Marino isn't part of the European Union, PRIMA operates under different regulatory frameworks than many of its counterparts across Europe. This distinction, coupled with the network’s MCC and MNC, allows devices to correctly identify and connect to the San Marino network when roaming. PRIMA’s role in supporting local businesses and international tourism to the area is a major priority, offering a vital link to the rest of the world.
