Description

Sprint Corporation, operating in the United States of America (North America & Caribbean), was a major mobile network operator identified by its Mobile Country Code (MCC) of 310 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) of 120. Once a dominant force in the US telecommunications landscape, Sprint provided a range of wireless services, including voice, data, and messaging, to millions of subscribers across the nation. Known for its innovative technologies and competitive pricing, Sprint often challenged larger rivals like Verizon and AT&T in the quest for market share. This network played a significant role in the evolution of mobile communication, paving the way for advancements in 4G and contributing to the expanding digital connectivity across the US.
Sprint has since merged with T-Mobile, a strategic alliance that significantly reshaped the US mobile market. Now operating as one entity, the combined network leverages the strengths of both Sprint’s existing infrastructure and T-Mobile's widespread coverage and technology. While the Sprint brand is gradually being phased out, its legacy in the telecommunications industry remains noteworthy. The MCC 310 originally associated with networks like Sprint still plays a crucial role in identifying networks during roaming and other network operations. Former Sprint customers are usually now migrated to the T-Mobile network, benefitting from enhanced coverage and newer technologies.
