Description

Space Data Corporation, operating within the United States (North America & Caribbean), provides mobile network services identified by the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 311 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 60. This combination uniquely identifies Space Data Corporation within the global cellular network infrastructure. While perhaps not as widely known as larger national carriers like Verizon or AT&T, Space Data Corporation plays a vital, albeit niche, role, particularly focusing on connectivity solutions that leverage aerial platforms.

Unlike traditional terrestrial-based mobile networks, Space Data Corporation has explored using airborne platforms, such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), to deliver connectivity, especially to underserved or remote areas. This innovative approach distinguishes them from other US mobile networks and offers potential advantages in disaster relief scenarios, temporary event coverage, and providing broadband access in regions where deploying traditional cell towers is challenging or cost-prohibitive. The network's MCC and MNC codes are essential identifiers for devices attempting to connect, ensuring proper routing and authentication within the national and international mobile ecosystem.
