Description

Ligado Networks, operating in the United States, part of the North America & Caribbean region, is identified by the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 311 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 510. Assigned these unique identifiers, Ligado aims to provide connectivity solutions, primarily focusing on utilizing licensed spectrum for advanced mobile and satellite services. Unlike larger, nationwide carriers such as Verizon or AT&T, Ligado's approach involves targeted solutions geared towards specific industries.

The company's operational focus is notably different from traditional mobile network operators. While Verizon and AT&T cater extensively to the consumer market with broad cellular services, Ligado Networks concentrates on providing secure and reliable connectivity for critical infrastructure, IoT applications, and potentially, supporting emergency communication services within specific sectors in the United States. Debates and regulatory scrutiny have surrounded Ligado's spectrum usage, with concerns raised about potential interference with GPS signals, leading to adjustments in their planned deployment strategies. The network code is vital for identifying subscriptions and it is critical to the operation of the network.
