Description

Mid-Rivers Telephone Cooperative and its mobile arm, Mid-Rivers Wireless, provides mobile network services to a significant portion of rural Montana in the United States. Operating with MCC (Mobile Country Code) 312, identifying it as a US-based network, and MNC (Mobile Network Code) 400, Mid-Rivers Wireless focuses on delivering connectivity to areas often overlooked by larger national carriers. As a cooperative, its structure prioritizes the needs of its members and the local community, a contrast to the profit-driven approach of nationwide conglomerates.

Serving a vast landscape of ranches and small towns, Mid-Rivers Wireless plays a vital role in bridging the digital divide in eastern Montana. While competing with larger networks like Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile, Mid-Rivers distinguishes itself with its commitment to customer support tailored to the specific needs of its rural subscribers. Their service area stretches across multiple counties, delivering critical communication infrastructure to residents, businesses, and emergency services. This focus on localized service and rural connectivity differs greatly from the national competition whose investment strategy focuses on higher population density zones.
