Description

nTelos Wireless, operating in the United States of America and serving the North America & Caribbean region, was a regional mobile network provider. Identified by its Mobile Country Code (MCC) of 312 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) of 660, nTelos aimed to deliver cellular services primarily in parts of Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Kentucky. While significantly smaller than national giants like Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile, nTelos carved out a niche by focusing on specific geographic areas.

nTelos distinguished itself with its commitment to offering competitive pricing and tailored plans for its regional customer base. Although it didn't boast the same nationwide coverage as larger competitors, its regional focus enabled it to build strong relationships with its customers. The network infrastructure, while perhaps less expansive than national competitors, was designed to adequately serve its specific footprint. Ultimately, nTelos was acquired and its spectrum and assets were integrated into larger national networks, marking the end of its independent operation, but its contribution to regional telecommunications in the mid-Atlantic area is still remembered by former customers.
