Description

KDDI America, Inc., operating under the Locus Telecommunications brand, provides mobile network services within the United States of America, specifically in the North America & Caribbean region. As a Mobile Network Operator (MNO), Locus Telecommunications is identified by its unique MCC (Mobile Country Code) of 312 and MNC (Mobile Network Code) of 740. These codes are essential for mobile devices to connect to the correct network for communication services. Within the competitive US telecom landscape, KDDI America provides solutions often tailored to specific niche markets or enterprise clients, differentiating it from larger national carriers like Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile.

While the bigger players focus on mass-market consumer services, KDDI America/Locus Telecommunications plays a crucial role by catering to particular business needs or offering specialized international connectivity solutions, leveraging its parent company's global presence. The 312 MCC signifies the US as the country of origin, and the 740 MNC pinpoints Locus Telecommunications amongst the many mobile networks operating there. Details around network technology (e.g., 4G LTE, 5G) and service coverage need further expansion, but the MCC/MNC combination offers a vital starting point for identification and understanding of this network within the broader US mobile ecosystem. Communities built around radio frequency (RF) and network identification often contribute to detailed coverage maps for such networks, improving knowledge around areas served.
