Description

Vodafone India, operating in the Uttar Pradesh (East) region of India, is a prominent mobile network provider within the Asia & Middle East area. Identified by its Mobile Country Code (MCC) of 404, which signifies India, and Mobile Network Code (MNC) of 15, Vodafone India, now integrated into Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi), offers a range of telecommunications services to a large customer base in this populous state. Uttar Pradesh East presents unique challenges and opportunities for mobile network operators, with its diverse demographic and expansive geography. Vodafone (Vi) competes with other major players like Airtel and Jio in providing voice, data, and mobile money services, striving to connect communities across urban centers and rural landscapes within UP East.

The 404 MCC is vital for routing mobile traffic within India, ensuring that subscribers can connect seamlessly while roaming nationally. The '15' MNC specifically pinpoints Vodafone (Vi)'s network infrastructure within that framework. The evolution of Vodafone in this region, from its initial entry into the Indian market to its merger with Idea Cellular, has played a significant role in shaping the mobile communication landscape. Deploying and maintaining robust network coverage, especially 4G and increasingly 5G, is critical for Vodafone (Vi) to stay competitive and to meet the growing demand for mobile internet access in Uttar Pradesh (East), contributing to digitization and economic development in the region.
