Telecom Development Company Afghanistan Ltd., operating under the brand name Roshan, is a leading mobile network provider in Afghanistan. Holding the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 412, which identifies Afghanistan, and the Mobile Network Code (MNC) 20, Roshan has played a pivotal role in connecting Afghans across the country, even in some of the most remote and challenging terrains. As Afghanistan's communications infrastructure evolved from the early 2000's to present, Roshan was committed to providing essential telecommunication services, helping bridge the digital divide.

Operating within the Asia & Middle East region, Roshan faces unique challenges specific to Afghanistan, including security concerns and infrastructure limitations. Despite these hurdles, Roshan has invested heavily in expanding its network coverage and service offerings, competing with other mobile operators such as Etisalat Afghanistan, MTN Afghanistan and others for market share. Known for investment in community development initiatives alongside its network services, Roshan strives to enhance the lives of Afghans by providing access to reliable communication, internet and a variety of applications through mobile technology.
