Description

Rightel, officially known as Social Security Investment Co. Rightel, is a mobile network operator in Iran, operating within the Asia & Middle East region. As one of the major players in the Iranian telecommunications market, Rightel holds the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 432 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 20. This unique identifier allows mobile devices to connect to the Rightel network and enables roaming agreements with international carriers. Rightel distinguishes itself from other Iranian operators like Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran (MCI) and MTN Irancell, by initially focusing on 3G data services, making it an early entrant in Iran's growing mobile broadband landscape, and continuing to provide 4G services, with a focus on data driven services.

Since its inception, Rightel has played a significant role in shaping the accessibility of mobile internet in Iran. While competition remains fierce, Rightel has strived to offer competitive data plans and services, addressing the increasing demand for mobile connectivity among Iranian users. Owned by the Social Security Investment Co., Rightel's activities are influenced by the broader socio-economic goals of the organization. Further development of Rightel's infrastructure is expected to contribute to Iran's digital economy and provide more Iranians with wider access to crucial digital services, especially given the country's large and young population. Its continued focus on innovation and network enhancements makes it a key player in the evolving Iranian mobile market.
