Description

Uzmacom, operating under the brand Mobiuz, holds a significant position in Uzbekistan's mobile telecommunications landscape. As a key player in the Asia & Middle East region, it utilizes the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 434, specifically designating it to Uzbekistan, and the Mobile Network Code (MNC) 02, a unique identifier within the country. This allows mobile devices to correctly identify and connect to the Mobiuz network. The operator competes with other networks such as Ucell and Beeline Uzbekistan, offering a range of services from basic voice calls and SMS to more advanced mobile internet access through 4G LTE technology. Mobiuz coverage extends across major cities like Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara, as well as many rural areas of the country.

Originally launched as a joint venture, Uzmacom has evolved to become a wholly state-owned enterprise, reflecting Uzbekistan's strategic interest in developing its telecommunications infrastructure. This transition has enabled Mobiuz to focus on expanding network coverage and capacity to meet the growing demand for mobile services, contributing to greater digital inclusion across the nation. Reports indicate a steady increase in Mobiuz subscriber base, driven by competitive pricing, service innovations and a strong commitment to improving customer experience within Uzbekistan's dynamic mobile market. The company's continued investments in network upgrades are expected to further solidify it's position as a leading provider in the Central Asia region.
