Description

UzMobile, operating under the Uzbektelekom umbrella, stands as a prominent mobile network operator in Uzbekistan, a landlocked country nestled in the heart of Asia and the Middle East region. Identified by the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 434 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 08, UzMobile plays a significant role in connecting individuals and businesses across the nation. As a subsidiary of Uzbektelekom, the national telecommunications company, UzMobile benefits from extensive infrastructure and resources, allowing it to offer a diverse range of mobile services, including voice, SMS, and mobile internet. Uzbekistan's mobile market is competitive, with UzMobile vying for subscribers against other key players like Mobiuz (UMS) and Beeline Uzbekistan.

Uzbektelekom launched UzMobile with the aim of expanding mobile network coverage and providing affordable communication solutions to the population, particularly in underserved rural areas. Leveraging its parent company's established fibre optic network, UzMobile has focused on deploying 3G and 4G LTE technologies to improve data speeds and enhance the user experience. They offer various tariff plans catering to different usage patterns, from basic voice calls to data-heavy applications like streaming and social media. The network's growth has contributed to increased mobile penetration in Uzbekistan, supporting the country’s broader digital transformation agenda. Continuous investments in network upgrades are crucial to maintain its competitive edge against rivals.
