Description

Altyn Asyr, operating under the brand TM Cell, is Turkmenistan's leading mobile network provider. Holding the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 438 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 02, it plays a crucial role in connecting the country's population. Turkmenistan, situated in Central Asia, sees Altyn Asyr as a vital part of its evolving communications landscape, offering services to both urban and rural areas. While other networks exist, such as MTS Turkmenistan (who previously operated in the country), Altyn Asyr benefits from a strong governmental backing, allowing it to invest in infrastructure and expand its network reach, particularly in comparison to it's rivals.

As the primary mobile operator, Altyn Asyr's impact extends beyond simple connectivity. It facilitates business communication, supports access to information, and enables socio-economic development within Turkmenistan and the broader Asia & Middle East region. The network's ongoing efforts to upgrade to newer technologies, in keeping with global standards, aim to provide faster and more reliable mobile internet access to its subscribers. Furthermore, Altyn Asyr frequently participates in state-led initiatives to promote digital literacy and access to communication technologies for all Turkmen citizens.
