Description

PT Pasifik Satelit Nusantara (ACeS) PSN operates as a mobile network in Indonesia, which sits within the Oceania region. Officially recognized with Mobile Country Code (MCC) 510, identifying Indonesia, and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 00, ACeS PSN provides satellite-based mobile communication solutions. This is particularly important in a geographically diverse archipelago like Indonesia, where terrestrial infrastructure may be limited in remote areas. ACeS PSN aims to bridge the connectivity gap, offering services that extend beyond the reach of traditional GSM networks such as Telkomsel, Indosat Ooredoo, and XL Axiata, who provide alternative cellular connectivity options for urban areas.

ACeS PSN distinguishes itself by leveraging satellite technology to deliver voice and data services to areas underserved by terrestrial networks. The network's reliance on satellite communications is vital for maritime, aviation, and remote land-based operations across Indonesia. In contrast, other Indonesian mobile operators largely focus on building and maintaining extensive networks of cell towers and fiber optic cables, primarily in densely populated areas across Java, Sumatera and other major islands. While ACeS PSN might have a smaller subscriber base compared to the GSM giants, its specialized satellite coverage provides essential connectivity for specific industries and individuals who require reliable mobile communications, especially outside of the population corridors of Indonesia.
