Advanced Info Service (AIS) is a major mobile network operator in Thailand, providing a wide range of telecommunications services to millions of subscribers across the country. Operating within Oceania, although geographically Thailand is in Southeast Asia, AIS holds a significant market share and plays a crucial role in Thailand’s digital landscape. The network's identity is clearly defined through its Mobile Country Code (MCC) of 520, signifying its Thai origin, and its Mobile Network Code (MNC) of 01, distinguishing it from other providers within Thailand. AIS is one of the big three mobile network operators in Thailand along with TrueMove H and DTAC.

AIS offers a comprehensive suite of services, including 4G LTE, 5G, and traditional GSM connectivity, catering to diverse user needs from basic voice calls to high-speed data access. Known for its extensive network coverage and commitment to innovation, AIS continuously invests in infrastructure upgrades to enhance its network performance and customer experience. Compared to its competitors, such as TrueMove H and DTAC, AIS often positions itself as a premium provider, focusing on quality service and advanced technologies. The operator’s focus on providing strong network performance and adopting new technologies like 5G has helped to solidify its position within Thailand.
