Telecom Egypt WE, operating in Egypt (Africa), is a prominent mobile network provider distinguished by its Mobile Country Code (MCC) of 602 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) of 04. As the fourth mobile operator to enter the Egyptian market, WE aimed to disrupt the established duopoly of Vodafone Egypt, Orange Egypt, and Etisalat Misr. Launching its services in 2017, WE leveraged Telecom Egypt's existing infrastructure to offer a comprehensive range of mobile voice, data, and broadband services. The company is wholly owned by the Egyptian government. WE's entry into the Egyptian telecommunications sector marked a significant shift, increasing competition and driving innovation. It competes directly with well-established players like Vodafone Egypt and Orange Egypt. WE has focused on providing affordable data plans and leveraging its fiber optic network to offer superior broadband speeds, often positioning itself as a value-driven option for both individual consumers and businesses throughout Egypt. WE also focuses on partnering with other government related agencies to help serve the community, and focuses its attention on more rural parts of Egypt where there is little to no infrastructure or access available.
