Description

Gabon Telecom S.A. Moov, operating in Gabon, Central Africa, is a prominent mobile network operator. Identified by the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 628 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 02, Moov Gabon provides essential telecommunications services to individuals and businesses across the country. As one of the key players in Gabon's mobile market, Moov competes with other networks to offer voice, data, and mobile financial services, continually striving to improve network coverage and introduce innovative solutions to meet the growing demands of its subscribers. Understanding the MCC and MNC codes provides a clearer technical understanding of mobile network identification and operation within Gabon.

Often simply known as "Moov Gabon" to its customers, the network has invested considerably in infrastructure to enhance connectivity, particularly in urban centers like Libreville and Port-Gentil. While primarily focusing on GSM technology for voice and 2G data, Moov Gabon is also expanding its 3G and 4G LTE infrastructure to provide faster internet access and support data-intensive applications, competing with other mobile providers such as Airtel Gabon, and the now branded "Libertis" (formally Gabon Telecom). The advent of mobile banking and digital payment solutions further underscores Moov Gabon's commitment to enhancing financial inclusion and driving economic growth within the Gabonese population. Contribution to, and improvement of it's telecommunications infrastructure is incredibly important for Gabon as a whole, with it's continued development as a nation.
