Description

Réseau de l'Administration Gabonaise (RAG) is a dedicated mobile network serving the Gabonese government and its administration. Operating within Gabon, a country located on the west coast of Central Africa, RAG plays a crucial role in facilitating secure and reliable communication for government officials and agencies. With the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 628, unique to Gabon, and the Mobile Network Code (MNC) 05, RAG is easily identifiable and distinguished from other mobile networks operating within the country, such as Airtel Gabon and Moov Africa Gabon. The RAG network is essential for governmental operations, ensuring communications are secure and potentially prioritised for critical infrastructure and public services.

Beyond simple communication, RAG contributes to the digitalization efforts of the Gabonese administration. While detailed information regarding RAG's specific infrastructure and available publicly, it would be expected that it provides a higher level of security and potentially different service parameters compared to commercial mobile networks that typical Gabonese citizens would use. It’s operation, likely managed under strict governmental oversight, adheres to standards and regulations set by Gabonese telecommunications authorities. The network’s existence is vital for promoting the efficiency and effectiveness of governance within Gabon in a complex and rapidly evolving digital landscape. The network probably is a key component in e-governance schemes within Gabon.
