Description

Hormuud Telecom Somalia Inc, operating in Somalia, Africa, stands as a prominent mobile network provider. Identified by its Mobile Country Code (MCC) of 637 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) of 50, Hormuud plays a vital role in connecting Somalis across the nation. Somalia's telecommunications landscape has evolved significantly, and Hormuud has been a key player driving this growth. It competes with other networks and providers in the region to deliver mobile services to a large proportion of the population.

Hormuud Telecom, beyond providing basic mobile connectivity, is also known for its involvement in mobile money services, particularly through its EVC Plus platform. This service provides a crucial financial inclusion tool in a country where access to traditional banking may be limited. The mobile network has invested in infrastructure throughout Somalia, including in regions that have faced instability, helping bridge the communication divide. This makes Hormuud Telecom a critical component of Somalia's recovery and development, and a central player in the daily lives of many Somalis.
