Description

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) mobile network in Uganda, operating under Mobile Country Code (MCC) 641 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) 40, represents a unique instance within Uganda’s telecommunications landscape. While Uganda boasts established mobile network operators like MTN and Airtel, the CAA's network likely fulfills a specific, specialized communication need, probably centered around air traffic control and related civil aviation operations. This dedicated network configuration (MCC 641, MNC 40) enables secure and reliable communication essential for ensuring safety and efficiency within Ugandan airspace and airport operations. Unlike publicly accessible networks, the CAA's infrastructure is likely tightly controlled and designed for mission-critical applications.

Given its specific focus, the CAA mobile network probably uses a range of technologies to accomplish its mission, and this may include voice communication, data transmissions, and specialized aviation-related applications. The network's coverage would prioritize areas around airports, airfields, and flight paths within Uganda and possibly beyond. Comparing the CAA network to commercial providers such as MTN Uganda highlights the differences in target user base and service offerings; while MTN Uganda focuses on general consumers and businesses, the CAA network is optimized to facilitate communication among aviation professionals. Further investigations might uncover details about the specific technologies used and the extent of the network’s coverage area.
