Description

Telefônica Brasil S.A., operating under the commercial name Vivo, stands as a major mobile network operator in Brazil. Serving a vast customer base across the country within South & Central America, Vivo provides a wide range of telecommunications services, including mobile voice, data, and broadband internet. The network's identification within the global telecommunications infrastructure is defined by its Mobile Country Code (MCC) of 724 assigned to Brazil, and its Mobile Network Code (MNC) of 06. Vivo competes directly with other significant players in the Brazilian market such as Claro and TIM Brasil, constantly striving to innovate and expand its coverage to meet the growing demands of its users.

Vivo has invested extensively in its infrastructure, particularly in expanding 4G LTE and 5G networks across Brazil, bringing faster speeds and improved connectivity to urban and rural areas alike. Historically known for its strong presence in São Paulo, it has steadily broadened its reach, establishing itself as a prominent force across the entire Brazilian territory. Known for attractive prepaid plans and growing fiber optic offerings, they continually look to strengthen their position in the ever-changing Brazilian network landscape. The use of MCC 724 and MNC 06 is essential for proper device configuration, allowing mobile phones and connected devices to correctly identify and connect to the Vivo network within Brazil.
