Description

Local, operating within Brazil, distinguishes itself as a virtual mobile network operator (MVNO), adding a unique flavor to the existing telecommunications landscape of South and Central America’s largest country. Utilizing the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 724, which identifies Brazil, and the Mobile Network Code (MNC) 99, Local carves its niche by leveraging the infrastructure of established networks, allowing it to offer services without the massive capital expenditure needed for building its own physical network. In a market dominated by major players, like Vivo, Claro, and TIM, Local aims to connect specific segments of the Brazilian population with tailored mobile solutions.

As an MVNO, Local's business model hinges on innovative service offerings and competitive pricing, often targeting niche markets or geographic areas underserved by the larger national carriers. While it doesn’t possess its own spectrum allocation or base stations, Local focuses on customer service, specialized data packages, and targeted marketing campaigns to attract and retain subscribers. By understanding the unique needs of specific communities within Brazil, Local strives to provide accessible and affordable mobile connectivity, contributing to greater digital inclusion within the vast and diverse Brazilian market. Local's use of MCC 724 and MNC 99 underscores its position within the Brazilian regulatory framework for mobile telecommunications.
