Description

Corporación Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (CNT EP), operating as CNT Mobile, is Ecuador's prominent state-owned telecommunications provider. Positioned as a significant player in South & Central America, CNT Mobile offers a wide range of mobile services across the nation. Identified by its Mobile Country Code (MCC) of 740 and Mobile Network Code (MNC) of 02, CNT Mobile distinguishes itself within Ecuador's competitive mobile landscape, going up against rivals such as Claro and Movistar.

As Ecuador’s national telecommunications corporation, CNT Mobile plays a key role in expanding mobile connectivity, particularly in underserved areas. This commitment often involves deploying infrastructure and services to regions where private companies may not find immediate financial incentive, driving digital inclusion. CNT Mobile’s spectrum holdings, network technology, and service offerings significantly contribute to Ecuador's overall telecommunications infrastructure, competing to provide coverage and services to the large population of the country
