## About Iridium

Iridium Communications Inc. operates a unique global mobile network using a constellation of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites. Unlike traditional terrestrial cellular networks that rely on ground-based infrastructure, Iridium provides coverage to the entire planet, including remote areas not serviced by GSM or LTE networks. This makes it a vital communication tool for maritime, aviation, government, and other sectors requiring connectivity in challenging environments.
