About AeroMobile
AeroMobile AS, operating under the mobile network code (MNC) 14 and Mobile Country Code (MCC) 901, provides worldwide in-flight mobile connectivity. This allows passengers on participating airlines to use their mobile phones and other devices for calls, texts, and data services while airborne, offering a seamless extension of terrestrial mobile networks into the sky. The service essentially creates a mobile network environment within the aircraft, connecting passenger devices to ground-based networks via satellite communication. Unlike traditional mobile networks which are geographically fixed, AeroMobile operates globally, partnering with various mobile network operators (MNOs) to enable roaming agreements. This unique position allows AeroMobile to serve a diverse range of airlines, enhancing the travel experience for their passengers. While typical ground-based networks like Vodafone or AT&T focus on terrestrial coverage within specific countries, AeroMobile fills the airspace gap, offering connectivity where conventional mobile infrastructure simply can't reach.
