Description

OnAir Switzerland Sarl, operating under Mobile Network Code (MNC) 15 and Mobile Country Code (MCC) 901, provides mobile network services internationally. While based in Switzerland, documented use indicates its presence is global, mainly focused on specialized communication solutions rather than direct consumer mobile offerings. The MCC 901 designates it as a network of international origin, highlighting its role in providing connectivity across borders. This differs from traditional Swiss mobile operators like Swisscom (MCC 228, MNC 01) or Sunrise (MCC 228, MNC 02) who primarily serve the Swiss domestic market.

OnAir's operational model often involves partnerships and roaming agreements to facilitate connectivity in various countries. As such, you are likely to encounter it offering services for aviation, maritime, or enterprise solutions that demand seamless worldwide communication. Its specific services can include satellite-based communications or integrated mobile solutions designed for industries with global reach. Its operation provides an interesting case study within the international landscape of mobile networks, demonstrating how MNCs/MCCs can be utilized for specialized and international services.
