Description

JT Group Limited Navitas, operating worldwide, holds a unique position as a mobile network provider utilizing the Mobile Country Code (MCC) 901, an MCC designated for international networks, coupled with Mobile Network Code (MNC) 17. This combination allows Navitas to provide services across diverse geographical locations, primarily focusing on satellite and specialized communication solutions rather than traditional terrestrial mobile services. Understanding the MCC and MNC is crucial for identifying network operators, and in Navitas' case, its 901-17 identifier points to its globally-oriented operational model.

While many mobile networks focus on specific countries and utilize domestic MCCs, Navitas' global presence and use of the 901 MCC distinguish it. Unlike networks such as Vodaphone or Airtel, who operate primarily with country specific MCCs and MNCs for each individual country, Navitas is not tied to any geographical boundaries. This allows them to establish coverage for specialized industries as well as private users in a variety of different continents and global locations, often focusing on niche markets requiring international solutions. Their services typically cater to sectors requiring seamless connectivity across borders, such as maritime, aviation, and remote resource management.
